Cookie Diet Thin
Everyone is talking about the Cookie Diet, or at least many dieters are, perhaps because it’s so hard to believe that anyone can actually eat cookies and lose weight. In fact, it’s almost impossible to say “cookies” and “weight loss” in the same breath. However, many people contend that the diet is not some bazaar fad but the real thing and that, by adhering to the diet, they lost weight.
Of course, there’s a catch: people cannot eat just any old cookies (no Chips Ahoy, Oreos, or Girl Scout Thin Mints allowed), only Dr. Siegal’s specially formulated cookies, which are available for purchase online or through doctors offices, select retailers, and drug stores, or at one of Siegal’s specialty shops.
Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet for Weight Loss
Created by Dr. Sanford Siegal, Director of the Siegal Medical Group in South Florida, the Cookie Diet has actually been around since 1975, although many people talk about it as if it were the latest thing. The unusual thing about the diet is that it allows weight watchers to consume six cookies each day, and cookies are usually anathema where dieting is concerned. (Siegal, 2007)
